$2000.00 donation to the MAP Program
The Escondido East Rotary Club donated $2000.00 to the Escondido Union High School District MAP Program. MAP is a simple acronym to help keep school success as a goal for all students. It emphasizes these important messages:
- M: Maintain a rigorous course of study (completing A through G UC/CSU admission criteria with a 3.0 GPA)
- A: Attend school daily (maintaining a minimum of 98% attendance rate over 4 years)
- P: Participate in school and/or community activities (minimum total of 100 hours)
Beginning with the class of 2011, students who complete all four years of high school on an Escondido Union High School District campus, and achieve certain benchmarks (including those listed above), will be eligible for guaranteed college admission to California State University San Marcos. They will also be eligible to receive tuition assistance.

Presidents Don, Dan and John from all 3 Escondido Rotary Clubs got to be on the field and hear on the load speaker about each of their clubs.
Rotarian Tina Inscoe sang the National Anthem and did an outstanding job.
We had 500 Rotarian/friends all together in one section of the park.

Here is a photo of my new carpet we just had put in the Studio by my old friend I have known since Elementary School Richard Heskin. He is with SCS Flooring Systems. If you want excellent commercial flooring, call Richard at 760-931-1600, ext. 26. His Installers did such a great job and the carpet quality is awesome.
